Cari-lène Mul

Cari-lène’s PhD project investigates interoception (the sense of the physiological state of the body) in people with high-functioning ASD. She uses behavioural, psychophysiological and neurophysiological (EEG) experiments to find out if interoceptive processing is in any way different in people with ASD compared to the typical population, and if they are related to some of the characteristics of ASD, such as differences in the understanding of others and emotion processing.
