Autism advocacy

Advocacy is an activity by an individual or group, autistic or not, that aims to influence decisions within political, economic, and social institutions. Autism Advocacy seeks to influence the general population to promote a humanistic and not pathological understanding of what being autistic means. To educate and promote an understanding of our special needs and autistic gifts. To create a society that supports these needs so we can thrive as people and not just survive.
